Inception - Movie Review(Spoilers perhaps)

Finally managed to get out of the house to a movie hall in the city of London. 6 plus months here but not a movie to my name, which is quite surprising given the # of movies I used to down in a regular month over in the states. But enough about that. Down to the crux of the matter. The movie - Inception. One of the finest examples of cinema in the recent past, forcing you to pay attention and watch every single scene with rapt attention, lest you miss a step.

Questions that it raises -
1) Mal is sitting on the ledge, yet Cobb keeps asking her to come in, gesticulating as if to just step inside, yet there is a gap in between the two of them. How did Mal get to the other side and how come they are facing each other?
2) Dreams within dreams - level 2 everyone starts to float since the car is in free-fall, yet level 3, everyone is happy to be running around and falling down mountains with gravity not playing any role there? amusing! and yet it continues down to level 4 and 5 as well.

Just a couple of questions - but all in all a pretty tight film, keeping one enthralled through out. I await Chris Nolan's next journey with Superman, i believe, expecting a total rework of the classic.

Commencement address - Steve Jobs

"When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something." - Steve Jobs @ Commencement at Stanford in

Ha... been a while..

Since I was back here. It seems like familiar territory but will tread softly, Cause to boldly go where no one has gone before seems like a cheesy line from Star trek, in this case causes me to write again. I feel that the creative spark is back in me and I need to take some serious time to get down to express/pound out a few keystrokes, which is more than I can say for the past couple of years.

In any case, I am back(read Arnie's swaggering tone here)
